08/09/2008 New Castle-Drops Hello players,
with today's change of castles, we are also presenting you the much-anticipated new castle drops!
These new drops have nothing to do with any official drops-modifications, that may have been made. The Alliance RO-Staff came up with the idea of creating custom drops, to offer you players the maximum of attraction in joining the War of Emperium, fighting with and for your guild and building up an economy to provide your guild members with newer and better equipment.
As a little explanation for the now following drops: Each castle basically has 2 different types of Treasure Chests. One is the "default" Chest, which will have the same drops in every castle. The second Chest is castle-specific, with some common, but also unique drops, that are not obtainable in any other castle.

Please note, these drops are based on 1x rates, so they will actually be three times higher.

Regards, [GM]Nawaki 08/04/2008 WoE castle rotation We have opened a new poll to choose two new castles for new WoE battles, please take a minute to cast your vote, the new elected castles will be enabled around Friday - Saturday and castle ownership for current guilds will be transferred along with economy and defense points.

Regards [GM]KOSAI 07/30/2008 Server restarted succesfully The server recompile was successful, now foods do not worn out when your character dies, the Sign Quest is implemented and we have new support for newer and/or custom monsters.

Regards [GM]KOSAI 07/30/2008 Wednesday the day Hello fellow players. Today i have to inform you around 8PM server time aRO will be restarted to apply some changes on npcs and a couple of features as test for the incoming software update.
Namely, we will enable the Sign Quest, make foods not dispell when your character dies and some database improvements to support new/custom monsters.
Downtime will be minimal, around 10 minutes max, as always you'll be able to check the server status live on our IRC channel.
We will soon make a WoE castle swap topic so on August 9 you can fight on new castles. This time, we will transfer economy & defense points along with castle ownership from the current two castles to the new ones, so we don't hinder your guild investments on each castle.
